Born in Sarthe in 1987, Lucas graduatedfrom La Fémis in directing. Upon graduation,he worked as assistant director on ClaireSimon’s documentaries,The Competition,TheWoods Dreams Are Made Of(2015), and as ascriptwriter on Romain Laguna’s first featurefilmMeteorites. In 2017, he directed a medium-length documentaryDu Rouge au Front.TheStrange Case of Jacky Caillou, written withOlivier Strauss is his first feature film.
